# Points and Energy

Contributors earn points based on recording duration.

Recording capacity is governed by an energy system. Each unit of energy corresponds to 2 minutes of recording time. Energy replenishes daily. The platform allocates energy based on contributor tier, with increased capacity available to participants who hold Caspius NFTs.

When NFTs are transferred in/out of your account, your energy will be updated in the next epoch corresponding to the number of NFTs you held in the previous epoch.

| Tier             | Energy | Minutes/Day | Max Points/Day |
| ---------------- | ------ | ----------- | -------------- |
| Base (1 NFT)     | 2      | 4           | 1,000          |
| Tier 2 (3 NFTs)  | 7      | 14          | 3,500          |
| Tier 3 (5 NFTs)  | 15     | 30          | 7,500          |
| Tier 4 (10 NFTs) | 35     | 70          | 17,500         |

Conversion of points to $CAS takes place at the end of every epoch, and $CAS rewards are claimable from the website (caspius.ai/wallet). The conversion rate is dynamic and subject to change.

## How your NFT's trait multiplier works

Every submission earns **raw points** first, then your equipped NFT applies a **multiplier** on top. The multiplier is built from four factors that combine into one number.

### The four factors

| Factor                                            | Values                                                                                                                        |
| ------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Rarity**                                        | Common 1.00x · Rare 1.50x · Legendary 2.00x                                                                                   |
| **Level** (1–15)                                  | 1.00x at Lv1, +0.05x per level through Lv9 (1.40x), then +0.10x per level through Lv15 (2.00x)                                |
| **Trait match** (Materials / Actuators / Sensors) | Standard 1.05x · Elevated 1.12x · Turbo 1.40x — **only if that slot's category matches the task's category**, otherwise 1.00x |
| **Augmentation match**                            | Standard 1.05x · Elevated 1.10x · Turbo 1.20x — same category-match rule, otherwise 1.00x                                     |

Categories: Cooking, Cleaning, Laundry, Logistics, Hardware.

### How they combine

**Step 1 — average your three traits.** Materials, Actuators, and Sensors don't stack — they're averaged:

{% code overflow="wrap" %}

```
Trait Score = (Materials + Actuators + Sensors) / 3
```

{% endcode %}

Example: Turbo Materials matching the task (1.40x), Standard Actuators matching (1.05x), Sensors not matching the task category (1.00x):

{% code overflow="wrap" %}

```
(1.40 + 1.05 + 1.00) / 3 = 1.15x
```

{% endcode %}

**Step 2 — multiply everything together.** Rarity, Level, Trait Score, and Augmentation are all multiplied to get one final multiplier:

{% code overflow="wrap" %}

```
Final Multiplier = Rarity × Level × Trait Score × Augmentation
```

{% endcode %}

**Step 3 — apply to your raw points.**

{% code overflow="wrap" %}

```
Final Points = Raw Points × Final Multiplier
```

{% endcode %}
